RCGI Projects

The RCGI Projects classification encompasses a comprehensive portfolio of cutting-edge research initiatives dedicated to advancing low-carbon technologies and sustainable solutions. These projects are organized into seven strategic programmes: Advocacy, Nature-based Solutions (NbS), Decarbonisation, Bioenergy with Carbon Capture and Storage (BECCS), Carbon Capture and Utilization (CCU), Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Mitigation, and InnovaPower.

Each programme addresses critical challenges in the transition to a low-carbon economy, from developing international standardization proposals and social perception initiatives to pioneering technologies in carbon capture, renewable energy integration, and ecosystem-based climate solutions. The projects range from fundamental research to applied innovations, including hydrogen production, CO? conversion processes, soil carbon sequestration, offshore wind energy systems, and advanced materials for carbon management. By filtering standards through this classification, users can identify normative frameworks that support specific RCGI research areas and facilitate the implementation of breakthrough technologies in carbon management and sustainable energy systems.
